What is it?

The word "garnet" originally stems comes from the Latin word "garanatus" which means "seed." Back in the 14th-century, garnet crystals were similar in shape, size, & color to pomegranate seeds which were plentiful in a lot of areas. Since the similarities were so on point, they start referring to this beautiful new red rock they found as Garnet.  

The crystal has remained a very popular stone throughout history and is considered a gift of love, especially when celebrating 2nd wedding anniversaries.  

Garnet is also the birthstone for January. 

How Does it Benefit Me?

Garnet is a great stone to use if you are looking to deepen a relationship. It's a super passionate stone and can be used to enhance sensuality, sexuality, and intimacy while also assisting with increasing commitment, honesty, and hope. 

Garnet also assists with moving past old feelings and changing behaviors. Use it to release bad karma and habits. Hold on to it and focus on removing and transforming negative energy. Garnets meaning is all about regeneration and revitalization, so use its energies when you want a "restart" or "reset."  

You can also use garnet as a protective energy stone during travel, if you get nightmares, and to overcome crisis and trauma. 

Chakra-wise, this beautiful red stone is primarily associated with the root chakra, but also with the heart chakra. It can be used to balance, purify, align and remove negative energy from all of your chakras and aura.

Garnet is a great stone to use when you are looking to manifest things in your life.

Hold on to it during meditation to use it's energies to ground your dreams and then manifest them into reality.

Visual your life with already have whatever you want in your life. This can be things like abundance and stabilizing chaos. The more you visual it coming true the more you can make moves to make it happen! You'll be to motivated not to!
